Norilsk Nickel says to install 2 bln rbl air conditioning on mine

MOSCOW, Aug 8 (PRIME) -- Metals giant Norilsk Nickel plans to install Russia’s first, 2 billion ruble air conditioning on the Taimyrsky mine, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

The launch is scheduled for July–September 2020. The total consumed electric power capacity is planned at 6 megawatts.

Similar systems are used in China and Poland.
